To help ensure our reputation for flawless service and a serene environment, we’ve jotted down a few thoughts for you to keep in mind on your visits with us at one of our salons.
Timing is everything
Please arrive for your appointment on time or cancel with 24-hour notice. If you’re off schedule, we get off schedule, and that’s a downward spiral where everyone loses out. In fact, come early, enjoy a chance to relax and read, and gently unwind.
Remember to plan time to find a parking spot. Public parking is available on New York Avenue and 13th Street, but sometimes traffic can get a little busy, specifically around, breakfast, lunch and dinner hours.
Play it safe
A salon uses many different chemicals to color and process your hair. Let us know if you have any allergies so we can steer clear of products that might cause a reaction or irritate sensitive skin.
We offer gowns for you to wear while at the salon to protect your clothing. There are spaces to hold your jacket or sweaters in the cooler months, but be sure to keep your valuables with you at all times or, if possible, leave them at home. Even though we have a very safe business location, we cannot be responsible if your clothing or personal items are damaged or lost.
If you need to bring a child with you on your visit, we certainly understand. Please be mindful, though, that “inside” voices are a must, and we ask that you provide close attention and supervision to keep your child from any potentially harmful situation.
Enjoy a relaxing experience
We offer a very relaxing and spacious waiting area and our staff is happy to help any way they can. Please let us know immediately if anything is unsatisfactory. The shampoo area is a quiet zone so that you can thoroughly enjoy a peaceful scalp massage and unwind. In fact, a serene environment is something we strive for all over the salon, so we recommend turning your cell phone to vibrate. If a phone conversation is necessary, please feel free to step outside or try to respect other customers by speaking softly.
Before you leave We accept payment at the end of your visit. You may use cash or credit cards, including American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
Also, it’s a good idea to schedule your next appointment when you leave. Although we make every effort to accommodate last minute requests, waiting until the eleventh hour can result in disappointment.
Should you need to cancel a single appointment, please call 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with shorter notice may be charged 50 percent of the value of the service(s). If an appointment is missed, the full fee will be charged. Our cancellation policy allows us to accommodate others on our wait list and ensures that our staff is best able to serve everyone.
Also, we like to keep appointments to their scheduled times. So please be aware that if you arrive late, we will have less time to focus on you. Thanks for assisting us in keeping Rayzor's Edge an experience that you treasure and look forward to!
